Can anyone advise me on the best place purchase a couple of folding sun loungers and deck chairs. We are coming to PP in July and staying at the Pollensa Park. All the reviews complain about people putting towels on sun-loungers at dawn.We have a fundamental problem with this and don't want to do it ourselves so we intend to buy a couple of folding sun loungers and deck chairs to use on the pool and on the beach. Where can we buy them and any idea what they'll cost? I can tell you that they are extremely expensive to buy, much more expensive than the UK. Your typical plastic lounger is about 80 euros and even a flimsy portable fold up lounger will set you back 40-50 euros. We have always wondered why this is as at home you can pick these up a lot cheaper. The best place to buy them is somewhere like the large Carrefour supermarket close to the airport. You could also buy at a Leroy Merlun or IKEA but if you don't have a car or don't know Palma very well the latter two could be tricky to find.

You may find something cheap in one of the many Chinese supermarkets around the island that may, fingers crossed, last the length of your stay. Edited: 16 June 2013, 09:09 Try 'multi hire' a shop run by an English couple which hires out almost anything you could want on holiday, I googled them and they have sun loungers for around 20 € a week - hope this helps - their only a couple of streets back from the pine walk I was also thinking about buying sun a couple for use at a villa. Many of the villas we have rented have those naff sun beds only useful for sleeping on! No adjust mechanism so if you want to read a book you have to devise a contraption using pillows, cushions and towels behind you to get a back rest of any sort! Not 100 % sure on this but there are a couple of second hand/charitable places I think behind Calle Formentor beyond the Miramar walking away from town. Sure I have seen beach/pool stuff there. Hope helps a bit Great idea as you could also take them to the beach - they are charging 12 euro per day for 2 beds and a parasol - the most we have ever paid.

They are very expensive on PP beach definately the most expensive we pay all year !! Went to the Charity shop for books and they certainly had a few chairs no beds but had some umbrellas If you have a car I would imagine the large Lidl or Eroski on the way to Pollensa have them I did see some beds in one of the shops on the way up to the Pollensa Park but no prices on them -:- Message from TripAdvisor staff -:-This topic has been closed to new posts due to inactivity. MOST people have wished that they could spend all day in a deck chair without having to move. The deck chair comes with its own GPS system [N/C]And that dream has come a step closer to reality, thanks to an artist who has designed the world's first motorised deck chair. The vehicle seats two and comes with a GPS tracker which follows the movement of the sun in relation to the user's position of the beach, so it can provide the perfect level of shade. It also comes armed with deployable wind breaks and retractable towels to keep everything dry and sand-free.And, if you fancy using it somewhere other than a beach, it has a built-in sandpit and slushy making machine to recreate that seaside feeling. The vehicle has deployable windbreakers and its own sandpit [N/C]Sadly, the deck chair is not yet on sale, but is currently touring the country to promote Holiday Autos.Designer Solomon Rogers said: "I was commissioned by Holiday Autos to make the holiday experience better than ever before and we wanted beachgoers to enjoy a day at the seaside without having to worry about overcrowding
