We just got back from a stay at Venetian, and ended up at a store in the Wynn concourse where they sell beds available in the Wynn guestrooms. I remember from a previous stay there that they were amazingly comfortable. They are made by Serta (or is it Sealy?) for the Wynn exclusively. Price is $2,100 including delivery and no tax is added. I haven't shopped around for prices of other mattresses, but the price doesn't sound outrageous. Anyone who's purchased one have any comments to share? These are used mattresses? If so, I personally wouldn't want one since I wouldn't know who had slept on it or what had been done on it :(Made for and sold by the Wynn new. Ohhhhhhh then that's different!!!! If they are affordable and less than you can get locally, then why not if you really like them? I read something about Hotel mattresses once. It said even high end hotels like The Wynn dont have the best mattresses. They say because they change them out so often that they use lower end mattresses.

So even if they are comfortable they may not wear over time as well as you would get buying a better mattress at your local mattress store. I recently bought a king size Stearns and Foster that is very comfortable. When I was searching for a mattress a few years back, I learned that if you do your research, you can probably find a similar/same model for less. But the difficulty is that different retailers give mattresses a different name to make it hard for you to compare them. Plus, there's nothing like actually sleeping on a mattress and liking it. So if you find you get a great night's sleep on the Wynn mattresses, go for it. I'm a fan of their mattress as well and might go for it the next time I'm in the market for one. I sold mattresses for about 5 years. You can get a very similar mattres for 1/3 of that price. Here is what you do. Go to a mattress store and look at the Simmons beautyrest or sealy posturepedic. The differences are the coil systems. the simmons has pocketed coils that will seperate motion between partners.

The sealy has a different coil system. I personally have a sealy becuase it was the most comfortale for me. They are equal in quality and warranty. Now get the best price. All mattress store will discount the price to about 1/2 of the sticker price. The most expensive ones in the store are marked up about 70% and the cheapest ones very little. The $2100 can be bought for about $999 or so with free delivery. The salesman are willing to work with you, be brave and tell worj with them and you will get a great bed at a great price. Any questions, pm me. This is an amazing coincidence, we bought a mattress today. In fact we bought a King Sleep Number Bed. If you think $2100 is a lot of money for a mattress you should see what these cost. I've bought a couple of new cars that cost less, lol. We stayed at the Sofitel in Chicago a couple of years ago & slept on THE most comfortable beds...they were available to purchase (new) for around $1200...that's comparable to what we paid for our King bed.

About time for a new one....I need to call the Sofitell. Best bed, was the St Regis in Rome. I tried the Sofitel bed two weeks ago on a trip to Argentina and it measured to my mattress at home. Wynn beds are good, Ritz beds are good as well. I wouldn't dare laying on a mattress at the Luxor or Circus Circus. I'll rather sleep in the car! One destination mentioned in this post We purchased one and ended up returning it. We had stayed at wynn and encore several times and loved the beds. The mattress that was delivered was not as comfortable as the one at the hotels. We actually had a trip scheduled in the midst of the mattress fiasco and several after. The beds at the hotel did not feel the same as the mattress that was delivered to our home. I don't know what this could be attributed to, maybe we are more relaxed while in vegas so the beds felt different???? I must say that the wynn was as helpful as they could be during this process. We actually ended up buying a mattress from a local store and it was even more expensive than the wynn one.

The prices are unbeatable, but you have to order based on the pictures you see online only. They don't have a showroom and you have to pay 20% of the cost to return something. Not all of its furniture is used. Some is new, and like anything else, you get what you pay for. If I want very cheap, I'll go to a thrift store, where I can reasonably assume the quality isn't going to be what I would find at Colleen's. If I go to Colleen's, I have no worries about quality, but I'll pay more - willingly - for that lack of worry. 1,009 posts, read 3,221,393 times Originally Posted by cyber_ecco Clark County Public Auction Not in Vegas, but include Latex Mattress Company and Foam By Mail in your mattress research. 492 posts, read 865,303 times 9,355 posts, read 19,544,922 times Originally Posted by from nv , I still recommend it for others. I know Freecycle is free, but sometimes when you can never succeed at getting any little thing, not even a book offered at freecycle, garage sales come in handy.
