The good news came when someone confronted them to purchase their catering equipment business which was on the verge of closing down. They immediately knew that they could achieve wonders with dedication, perseverance, and hard work, service and never to give up, however they were aware that coming up with new business ideas that were practical, would not be very easy. On 15 February 1988 they started with their new venture with a few items of secondhand equipment and a determination second to none. Johan holds an honours degree in Forensic Criminology and Asimina holds an honours degree in Business Management. Asimina is from Greek decent whose parents had the local café on the corner in Bloemfontein which was the oldest café in Bloemfontein, that is where she starting gaining her knowledge in the business world and what business is all about.
She always says that she was born “behind the counter” as her late father made all the siblings work from the age of six years old. Johan’s parents also owned a café on the corner, which also helped him gain knowledge of the business world, therefore the husband-wife combination and Asimina's marketing skills has contributed to their success. We specialise in the supply of second-hand catering equipment for fast food outlets, bakeries, supermarkets, kitchens, butcheries, coffee shops, restaurants, hotels, lodges, pubs and projects.
