White patio furniture is also available for hire.Booking with My Something Borrowed constitutes you have read, understood and agreed to the following terms. Please read this agreement carefully. Upon entering this agreement, you the hirer, agree to be bound by the terms within. These are the terms and conditions which will form a binding contract with you. No alteration or substitution to these terms and conditions shall be valid unless agreed in writing by My Something Borrowed.




All goods shall remain the property of My Something Borrowed during the hire period unless otherwise stated. All goods hired will require a 30% non-refundable deposit to secure the order. The remaining 70% must be paid in full at least 4 weeks prior to the event date. If the required event date is within 4 weeks of placing the order, full payment will be required upon booking. If the full balance is not received we reserve the right to withdraw our acceptance of the order. No delivery will be made without receipt of the full invoiced balance and security deposit. A security deposit must also be provided with the balance payment 4 weeks prior to the event date. The sum of which will be dependant upon the value of goods being supplied, and will be held to ensure safe and prompt return of goods under hire. Deliveries and collections will be made in person by a My Something Borrowed representative. In some instances items may be collected from our premises by prior arrangement.




Delivery and collection charges are quoted on an individual basis based on the location and order. The hirer or an appointed person will be required to inspect and sign for the goods at the time of delivery. Any person other than the hirer who signs a delivery/collection note at the venue is deemed to be authorised to do so. Any discrepancies to the order must be notified at the time of delivery. Any discrepancies not notified at this time will be exempt from any credit/refund. Please note that the goods will remain the responsibility of the hirer until they been collected by My Something Borrowed. You should therefore make every effort to ensure that the goods are kept dry, safe and retained in a secure place until this time. Goods that are not returned will be charged at full replacement cost to the hirer. Where applicable all hired goods should be replaced in original packaging provided. Goods not available for collection at agreed time and date, at the agreed location will incur an additional fee plus an additional 25% of agreed hire price per item per day.




The prices for chair decor includes delivery, dressing the chair, collecting from venue and laundering. Placement of chairs is not included in the agreed hire cost. If chairs are not in the rightful place an additional charge of £0.50 per chair will be charged to the hirer or deducted from the security deposit. Hired goods shall remain the hirers responsibility at all times. The hirer shall be solely responsible for the hired goods. Hotels/venues/florists/wedding planners or any other third party involvement will be exempt from any responsibility regarding hired goods. When goods are returned damaged in any way we have the right to charge the replacement cost or treatment charge and add this to your invoice or deduct from the security deposit, payable by the hirer. Failure to pay replacement costs or treatment charges resulting from loss or damage to hired goods, may result in the debt being referred to a debt collection agency to recover the costs. If, for any reason, you wish to cancel your order you should contact My Something Borrowed at the earliest possible time.




All cancellations or changes of the hired goods must then be confirmed in writing and will only become effective upon agreement and the receipt of your email or letter. Cancellations made more than 4 weeks prior to the event date will be exempt from a cancellation fee - please note the 30% deposit is non-refundable, but no charge will applied against the balance owing. Cancellations made less than 4 weeks prior to the event date will be charged at 70% of the balance owing on the total contract price. Cancellations made within 7 days of the event date will be charged at 100% of the balance owing on the contract price. Under no circumstances shall our liability to you exceed the invoice value of the contract. My Something Borrowed, or any representatives working on behalf of My Something Borrowed shall not be liable in respect of damages/injury/loss or any other damage incurred in respect of the hire, as a result of any defect or damage to item/s and the hirer shall satisfy him/herself of the suitability/condition/placement of the hired items upon receipt.




These terms and conditions and any contract formed between us shall be governed by the laws of England and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. My Something Borrowed treats any personal information you provide in accordance with the provisions of the data protection act of 1998 and will only use the information you supply to contact you in connection with services provided and/or to respond to requests you have made to provide any desired information.It’s not rocket science.
