Event Decor Direct is excited to offer these new and custom chair covers for sale at an incredible factory-direct price. My husband walks with a cane and I am concerned about how much walking will be involved in our trip in 2 weeks time. We are staying at the MGM Grand and have both never been to Las Vegas before. I really want to rent him a scooter so we can easily see all the sights without him getting so tired. Where are the best places to rent them or should I just call the hotel and talk to someone there to arrange to get one if possible. We are going in November and I reserved a power chair for my Uncle, from Apple Scooter. phone 800 777 6079. They will deliver to your hotel for free. Total cost for 5 days is $86.00. Have a great time in Vegas and good luck. All the major hotels on the strip rent them and they are in the best shape. I rented from a place called Vegas scooter the first year and it was in bad shape. I then found out that Paris, where I was staying also had them and were in better shape (like new) at about the same price.

I'm staying at Caesar's Palace next month and getting one there as well. 7 days is $130 and they can be rented at each of the Harrah's/Caesar's Entertainment properties at the Bell Desk.It makes all the difference in the world to your enjoyment of the strip! One destination mentioned in this post I second Apple Scooters. /LasVegas.asp I have not used them yet in Vegas, but they were excellent at Disneyland. I like them because you get “FREE Delivery, Pickup, Lost and Damage Insurance.” I had to use the insurance at Disneyland and they didn’t hassle me at all. When I stayed earlier this year at The Flamingo and rented a scooter thru them I also BOUGHT insurance, but when reading the fine print it said they could still charge me for a NEW scooter if lost/stolen or damaged if they felt like it. While in Vegas you may go out to eat or to a show and your scooter will be out of your sight. Don’t take the chance and get charged for another scooter if the one you rent gets stolen.

Anyway if you don’t rent from Apple Scooter make sure what the insurance covers from whoever you do rent from. I have a question regarding scooters.....are they difficult to drive? I have problems with my legs and have been considering renting one, but I'm the "not so good" driver....thanks for any advice you may have. They are easy to operate. Just be sure to have the speed on the low setting. Other than that watch out for other people and objects. People really like to walk into scooters and act like you hit them, when really they walked into you. We have rented from here before and found their service and scoooters to be excellent We always rent directly from the concierge at Paris, Flamingo & Harrahs. However, these are a 'full-size' scooter. If you wish to have a go-go type of scooter, contact the concierge a few days ahead & have them request one for delivery. They use the full-size durable ones because (seriously) some young guys rent them just to race them & play bumper cars with them!

Do a small You Tube video on how to disassemble the Go-Go prior to using. It really isn't bad but takes a few minutes until you get used to it. Also, take note, even if it is delivered from another company, you normally need to pick up from concierge (or possibly bell services). Concierge will have limited hours at each hotel. We almost missed it one night because of a flight delay & barely made it before 9 pm when concierge closed. That would have left mom immobile for the evening. Thanks for your suggestions Please note that I have added this thread as a Top Question under the Disabled Access heading I second the recommendation for 702scooters. You can rent them from the hotels, but it is usually much cheaper to use 702scooters. Also be aware that there are taxis specifically set up to carry scooters. The rates are the same, but you may have to wait a few minutes as the folks controlling the cab line may have to call. We used one to go from Mandalay Bay to Wynn and back and had to wait less than 10 minutes for each trip.

first I would get your scooter from the hotel , also its alt of walking but if you use the hop on bus you can see a lot of casinos, you can get a day pass for the deuce ,i had a major knee replacement , you can do Vegas but I would get the scooter , people are just rude!! but you are going at a less busy time, we have stayed for years at golden nugget , with easy access to the strip.. and all the shows it is easy to access the shows , if you use the bus you can mange to see the fountains , the art at Bellagio, nice shopping at outlet mall all hotes can help find scooter 5-Star Options in Las Vegas?
