While it has been renovated, it cannot handle the weight that a modern fly system can. Therefore, the weight capacity of each line is the MAXIMUM it can safely handle. The Palace Theatre does not allow the video taping of performances unless prior arrangements have been made with the Technical Director. Fire Codes prohibit the placing of video equipment or cables in aisles or at fire exits. For the protection of patrons and equipment, specific designated areas are provided for the placement of video cameras. Your videographer must contact the Technical Director two weeks prior to your performance. If these areas are unsuitable, other arrangements can be made at that time.




We can provide AC power and audio feeds if requested in advance. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL FIRE CODES BE VIOLATED The Palace Theatre DOES own a video projector. Our standard projection location is center of the balcony rail. We do have a box at this position for projector. Our screen is permanently rigged on a batten on lineset 5. Rental fee applied with usage. Clear-Com headset system (single channel 3 wire). The Palace owns 5 headsets with beltbacks. If more are needed the Technical Director must be notified two weeks prior to the event date. Stage monitor system and paging mike from stage right to dressing room hall and green room. Loading door is 12' high x 6' 9" wide and provides direct access from alley level to stage level. Derryfield Lane is 18' wide and requires careful navigation. Parking is allowed in Derryfield Lane for the purpose of loading and unloading exclusively. The Palace will not be held responsible for any parking tickets or tow fees resulting from vehicles left in Derryfield Lane.
