However, you are welcome to hold small ceremonies throughout the property, as long as they are not detrimental to the environment.If you plan to hold a ceremony here, please let us knowIf I chose to hold my wedding on Fenner property, will I have access to all of Fenner Nature Center’s amenities?
If your wedding is during normal visitor center hours, you and your guests can access the building (washrooms, etc.) freely. If you plan to hold a ceremony outside of normal visitor center hours, we cannot provide access to the building’s restrooms unless you proceed with a facility rental.Does Fenner offer rental equipment for outdoor use?We do not provide rentals of chairs or tables for outdoor ceremonies. Building rentals include indoor use of tables/chairs. Can I bring in and use my own equipment for outdoor ceremonies?If you would like to bring in your own chairs, etc., please contact us ahead of time for pre-approval. (Certain environments on the property are too fragile to allow for chair placement for large groups of people). We request similar notification if you want to erect a tent. According to city guidelines, tents must be less than 120 sq. feet in size. Erecting any tent 120 sq. ft. or larger requires a building permit. Information on permits can be obtained through the city’s website HERE.
