This October we had the pleasure of decorating the Lovely Corn exchange in Maidstone Kent. A lovely wedding venue for larger weddings. This particular saturday we were providing the chair covers, sashes, backdrops, thrones, white starlight dancefloor, centrepieces, table linen for over 300 guests. So lets get started!! The bride had opted for a very bright summer wedding contrasting two very different stunning colours, a bright yellow taffeta and a sterling silver. Adding some vintage lace to the mix we created this lovely scene. We added our vintage lace sashes to the yellow taffeta sashes showcased here: Our bride provided us with a swatch of her colour scheme and we matched it to create the above look. She visited us at our showroom and we together designed her ideal dream day. The room as you can see from the photograph is very neutral- a wide space with very opulent beams and workings. The before photograph showcases how the room started out!
As you can see chair covers are such a game changer when it comes to decor and creating the foundations to the wedding decor…Nice white chair covers or stunning chairs are the foundations for any decor! Both options we carry! Our bride opted for the chair covers. The Wedding cake designed by a fabulous cake artist was a four tier ivory cake with lace pattern. We added a table skirt and table swag to finish the look. We used our crystal globes and goblets to the table centres due to the large number of tables having a mix of heights worked better to create a dynamic to the room. The listed building does not allow open flame so we added our lit led lighting to the globes to create a romantic atmospheric look to the dinner. The top table we had our infamous grecian backdrop and thrones take centre stage for the bride and groom and immediate family. The White Lit LED dance floor was a spectacular choice for the first dance unfortunately we did not get any images of the dancefloors in use but you can imagine the way they look!
