Residential Facade Improvement Program East Dundee officials have announced the return of the Residential Facade Improvement Program for the 2017- 2018 fiscal year. Property owners of single-family, owner-occupied residential properties within the Village of East Dundee can submit a completed application from January 1 through March 31, 2017. East Dundee has allocated funds for this program from video gaming revenues and approved projects will be reimbursed up to a limit of 50% of all eligible services or $5,000, whichever is less. Examples of projects eligible for the program include new siding; pitched roofs and improvements to front patios and walkways. Work must be completed by March 31, 2018 in order to receive reimbursement. Upon submission, all applications will be reviewed by the Village Staff and Board and require strict adherence to the guidelines of the program. Click here for application and guidelines. Electronic Recycling is provided to East Dundee residents at no charge. Residents can drop off old TVs, computers, printers, scanners, VCRs, etc. at the Public Works facility located at 448 Elgin Ave from 7am-2:30pm, Monday-Friday. Items MUST be placed inside the dumpster. /recycling for drop off locations. Please note the dumping of non-electronic items is prohibited and will be under video surveillance. East Dundee Water Within Safe Limits Set by Federal and State for Lead and Copper The Annual Water Report, which was mailed to residents, outlines results of tests done to check the levels of a variety of contaminants found in residential drinking water.
