You can sleep, shower and watch TV if bored. You are right next to a good collection of restaurants, shops and cafe places. To check in or catch your flight all you need is 5 mins walking. Room Tip: The Yotel is located in the Airport terminal; so couldnt come any more handy. If you are checking in... 1,500 reviews sorted by: We were only there for 4 hours, it was great, to have a shower and get in to a nice clean bed and stretch out and have a nap after our night flight from Turkey.

Check in was so easy, gentleman on duty was very helpfully. Checking out was easy to, very polite gentleman on duty.would definitely use again. “Second visit to Yotel gatwick.” Hadn't booked a room as I contemplated just roughing it in the airport but 23 hours got the better of me so I checked into Yotel at Gatwick south terminal, what a good choice that was! Upon arriving I asked for a quick overnight single room but unfortunately there wasn't any available but there was a double at a convenient price so I decided to go for it. I arrived at my room which is a very modern design and has the feeling of a pod like room from a space station which may not be to everyones tastes. The bed was very comfortable and adjustable, en suite "wet room" with shower (which was great), flat screen t.v which you can access internet and emails on and also watch the latest movies free of charge which I thought was a total boost as I had plenty time to kill! I think the hotel provides food and drinks from reception at a supplement charge but I didn't have anything myself so cannot comment on quality.

All in all very convenient and fun :-) The cabin was compact but comfortable with everything required for an overnight stay to catch an early flight. The location couldn't be better, made it a breeze to get to the check-in desk with no rushing to get to the airport. Main complaint is the amount of noise transfer into the room. I thought it would be better insulated since if offers short-term rooms onsite at the airport. Sure the Yotel is small and the bathroom is clear glass with no privacy. This hotel isn't meant as a replacement to a standard hotel but was perfect for our needs. We were connecting from Barbados to Athens between two airlines. If you need a standard hotel do not use Yotel. We were able to sleep comfortably and feel safe behind a locked door, have a nonpublic bathroom to ourselves, take showers, and use internet in the room. This was a much better way to spend five hours at Gatwick when compared to sitting in the terminal with hundreds of connecting passengers going back and forth.

Walk out of the arrivals hall, down one level in the lift and directly into a cabin in Yotel!Excellent location for a short overnight / rest. Extremely comfortable bed, crisp sheets, light duvet and a TV at the end of the bed. One step and into the shower (large shower head) and loo. Even supply the multi-purpose shower gel / shampoo. All in all an excellent solution to a 9-hour stay between flights.Thank you Yotel ! Room Tip: Only a couple of twins, so make your reservation early for this room type I've been lucky enough to stay in some very nice hotels in recent times, mainly through work, and while Gatwick's Yotel is not in the same league it has everything you need as a place to crash while in transit. With a mildly scrambled brain from a bit too much rouge, I fumbled around for my reservation details at the check in pods but the gentleman on duty told me not to bother and we sorted everything out at the Galley in a matter of seconds (just as found the booking reference on my phone!).
