The Pavilion is a Council owned building, managed by the Lake Weeroona Pavilion Committee (LWPC). The committee is comprised of volunteer representatives from each of the 8 permanent user groups (Bendigo Rowing Club, Bendigo Canoe Club, Bendigo Camera Club, Weeroona Social Card Group, Bendigo Motor Cycle Club, Dragons Abreast, Dragons Afloat & Model Yacht Club). It is available for hire by the public.




Mon-Fri: During the day up until 4pm (negotiable) Saturdays: Hourly hire not available Sundays: only available between 1:30pm – 4.30pm or after 7pm  (access for set up purposes prior to these times may be possible, pending permanent tenant activities) Friday night: $275 plus bond Function to conclude by 12:00 midnight. Guests to be gone by 12:30am Saturday night: $335 plus bond. Function to conclude by 1:00am. Guests to be gone by 1:30am Other times: $30 per hour plus bond Fees are reviewed each August at the Annual General Meeting 18th – 21st functions $1,000 Subject to the conditions of hire having been met, the bond will be refunded upon return of the key or within 7 days of the function. Public Liability insurance is compulsory. ‘Certificate of Currency’ to be provided prior to the event. Individuals must arrange their own one-off public liability cover for their event by going to the City of Greater Bendigo offices and paying a fee of approx. $25. 




Key to pavilion be released without a public liability cover receipt $100 deposit when booking to secure the required date. Balance of the Hire Fee by EFT or Direct Deposit one month before the event. Bond payable by cash or cheque when collecting the key A receipt for all monies will be issued when collecting the key A cancellation fee of $100 will apply if less than 1 month’s notice is given (unless venue is subsequently booked). For Friday and Saturday night functions, access to the premises is generally available from noon on the day of the function for set up/catering purposes. The pavilion must be cleaned and vacated by 10:00am the following day. $100 fee applies if not cleaned properly or not vacated by the appointed time. The pavilion is ideal for small-medium sized functions with between 150 (seated) to 200 (stand up) attendees. Tables and chairs are provided. Folding tables can seat 8-10 people. The venue also features disabled access & disabled toilets, a communal open space, roomy kitchen with ample bench space, 2 x stove/ovens, 2 x pie warmers, large glass fronted refrigerator, microwave, urn and serving window.
