The Ascot Kayak Club Hall is an ideal space to hire for workshops, forums, training, Pilates, Yoga or small meetings. The hall provides a wonderful vista of the Swan River and allows access to a large balcony, allowing you to use both areas. The room features reverse cycle air conditioning, a domestic kitchen, trestle tables and plastic chairs. The furniture can also be removed to provide an open space if required. The room is upstairs with easy access from a good sized convenient car park. Kathy Tasovac from the Ascot Riverside Kiosk can organise catering if you wish. Contact kathy on 0403 010 209. The Kiosk is part of the building complex and Kathy and Mike are club members. The hall is not suitable for social functions, celebration events or parties so please do not ask.




The Ascot Kayak Club Hall is an ideal space to hire for workshops, forums, training, Pilates, Yoga or small meetings. Ascot Kayak Club and the City of Belmont do not provide insurance cover. It is the obligation of the hirer to take out adequate insurance such as workers compensation, personal accident, public liability and general property insurance. How much does it cost? All charges are GST exclusive Hall Hire bond up to $1000.00. The Executive Committee may negotiate alternative rates and bond hire for regular customers. Club members are eligible for a discount of 50% on Hall Hire charges How many people does the hall hold? Our venue is quite small and as such is not suitable for large gatherings. What equipment is available? We supply plastic tables and chairs, a domestic fridge, domestic oven, sink and kitchen bench space. You need to supply plates, cutlery, glasses and serving dishes. If you need catering we can recommend a local business, contact us for details.




You are welcome to use your own caterer or do it yourself. Yes the toilets are in the same building as the function room. As the venue is upstairs with a large balcony we do not recommend that very small children attend functions at AKC Is the Kayak club insured? No, we do not have any insurance to cover participants at private functions at Ascot Kayak Club. Private groups and Companies are to provide a copy of Public Liability.
