We love hosting Private Events! We offer painting classes for Birthdays, Anniversaries, Bachelorette Parties, Corporate Events, Church Functions, Fundraisers, and much more! Our Private Events are $35 per person with a 15-person minimum charge, less may attend but the charge per event is a minimum of 15 people. The event is a 2-hour class which includes a 16x20 gallery wrapped canvas, use of easels, brushes, paints, aprons, and the class is led by a professional instructor with the help of an assistant. Our Studio is of large capacity and is equipped with audio and video so that your guests can see what the artist is painting up close, and in detail. With our Private Events you can choose the painting; we have over 4,000 paintings to choose from in our Gallery and will be happy to help you choose the right one for your group. (We can create a painting for you for a $50 fee) Our Studio offers a full bar with a large selection of Wine, Bottled Beer, Cocktails, as well as soft drinks, bottled water, hot teas, & specialty coffee, all available for purchase.
If there is a particular item you would like, we can order it for you and have it available for your event. At our Studio, you are welcome to bring in catering or outside food, but outside beverages are not permitted. We partner with several restaurants to help you with your catering needs.We will bring the party to you! We do not charge for travel that is within a 1.5 hour radius of Oklahoma City. We have tables and chairs for rent if needed. Everyone gets their own canvas and paints their own unique painting under the helpful guidance of our Artist and Artist Assistants. Allowing everyone to paint their own painting lets people show off their individual personalities! There is a non-refundable deposit of $175.00 that goes toward your total cost of the private painting event. Your deposit is due when you book your event. Children events are only $25 per child with a 15-person minimum charge, less may attend but the charge per event is for a minimum of 15 people.
These events last 1.5 to 2 hours and are open for ages 8-15 to paint without help from their parents. Younger may attend but the parents will need to help them with their paintings. Parents are welcome to paint their own canvas ($25). The canvas size is 11X14 and we supply the artist, an assistant, easels, brushes, paints, etc., needed for the class. We do supply a painting apron for them to wear; however, we suggest the children wear clothes that you do not mind getting paint on. we have many to choose from and will be happy to help you choose the right one for your event. In addition to our regular classes, we offer various Team Building sessions: Individuals will create their own unique pieces, but will be encouraged to focus on a theme of your choosing.
Use your company motto or a new quarterly goal as inspirational guidelines. Choose one or few inspirational images. Pick an emotion to "literate" in color, select words (verbs, adjectives), or ONE WORD and challenge team members to include them in their pieces. Creative Team Building session allow participants to get creative within a semi-structured (but still low-key and fun) environment. Give everyone their own canvas or divide the group into teams for a unique team-building exercise. (11x14 canvas for individuals or 16x20 for two-person teams) (11x14 canvas for 2 hours or 16x20 canvas for 3 hours) "The Big Puzzle Picture" Group Canvas Choose a simple graphic. Each person will get one canvas with just part of the final image outlined on it. When everyone's done painting, the canvases can be arranged to make one large piece of art. Groups of 6 & 9 (15 total) working on 11 x 14 canvas (can be more). This format challenges your group's communication, teamwork, and creative problem solving skills.
One Large Interactive Canvas All participants share and paint on one huge canvas! Abstract or themed this one is fun for all! We can pre-paint canvas with a themed scene and participants can add what they feel belongs. Examples of backgrounds: Field (add your favorite flower), Night Sky (add constellations), Beach, Outline of State (add state icons), etc... Want to just rent our Studio space? We do that too! Special requests – Wine, beer, liquor Live Music / DJPlan your wedding at the beautiful and historic Harn Homestead Museum. We offer 10 acres of beautifully landscaped museum grounds. Our Jane Van Cleef Memorial Gazebo is the perfect backdrop for an outdoor ceremony. The Event Barn is a great place to host your wedding reception. This two-story 3,000 square foot rock and cedar barn holds 200 guests seated or up to 500 guests standing. The Barn is heated for those chilly winter months and two stories of Barn doors open out to the North and South ends to provide air during the warmer months. You may also use the lawn in front of the Event Barn to set up tables and chairs, or a tent. With 10 acres of shaded and landscaped space, this is truly the perfect outdoor wedding location. *All events must be off the property by midnight. $3,000 (Fri & Sat) Unlimited event hours*Include 4 hour rehearsal dinner $35 per hour/per guard (mandatory 1 guard per 100 guests)
Package includes use of facility for four-hour rehearsal/rehearsal dinner the evening prior as well as use of facilities for wedding and reception the next day. Tables and chairs for up to 200 guests are provided. Additional fee for holiday weekend dates. $1,700 (Fri/Sun) $2,000 (Sat) 4 hour event time (Friday set-up 1:30 p.m. Sat/Sun set-up 8:00 a.m. Package includes use of facility for four-hour rehearsal, reception, or wedding and reception. Set up and tear down allowed before and after event time. For daytime and evening events, a 20% fee will be added to the room rental if arrangements are made for guests to tour the Harn House. Tours of the Harn House must be scheduled at least 24 hours prior to the event. No event coordinators, participants or guests will be granted admission to the exhibit areas without prior arrangements. Non-refundable deposits and a signed contract are necessary to guarantee the rental. Initial deposit totaling 50% of the rental is due at time of contracting;
remaining 50% of the rental is due 60 days before the event. Both payments are non-refundable. Variables such as security, museum admission fees, property damage fees and any unusual requirements the day of the event will be billed after the event. Wedding and Engagement Photos The Harn Homestead site is a gorgeous place to take your bridal or engagement photos. A location fee of $25 per hour during normal business hours and $50 per hour evenings or weekends, with a two-hour minimum is required prior to photo shoot. Times for shoot must be reserved in advance as staff is not present after hours unless arrangements have been made in advance. Book Your Wedding Today The Harn Homestead opens rental dates for bookings on a first come first serve basis after you have met with our Event Coordinator and toured our facility. To Hold A Date Once a date at the Harn Homestead is put on hold, that hold is good for one week. To secure the date you must return the contract and deposit to the Event Coordinator within that time frame.
