I bought a Franklin power chair from Slumberland in Dec 2013.Finally got the chair in late Jan 2014. About two weeks ago Slumberland called me to tell me to unplug the chair as there were issues that may cause a fire. They stated no customers were affected, it happened on the showroom floor. Well, if it can happen in the store, there is sure a chance of it happening at home. Today they called again, 1-1-15, to tell me to make sure to keep it unplugged as they are still researching what caused the problem. So, I now have a chair I can't use, can't recline with no power, and am expected to wait until they decide what they want to do. I feel if there is a chance of a fire, they should recall the chairs.Very upset, will never buy a Franklin again, or shop at Slumberland.
