According to the textbook, there are 7 components of a speech communication process, they are speaker, message, channel, listener, feedback, interference, and situation.

As I read from the textbook there are 7 components a speech communication process. Those seven are: speaker, message, channel, listener, feedback, interference, and situation

Channel is the means we use to deliver our message. Youtube is the channel for me, as I am receiving the message there. People who are there, standing in front of Kamala Harris have a direct channel. Also, her speech is broadcast through TV and radio, these are also channels. There are 3 channels overall, considering Youtube and TV are the same. In my opinion, the speech was adjusted to all channels, since there were no problems both for the ones viewing it online and listening to her live in front of her.

Message - How is the message formed? Your thoughts on the introduction, main body, and the closing? Whom is she addressing in her speech? Which group of people is she mentioning separately? What does she use in her speech to connect to an audience? How does she talk about Joe Biden?

Message is what you talk to the audience as a speaker. Every word you utter in front of your audience is considered to be your message to them.

Listener- What is the reaction of the audience?

Listeners - all the people listening to Kamala Harris and receiving her speech. The audience welcomed her warmly with applause at the start of her speech. Furthermore, since Kamala is being natural when delivering the speech and speaking about what her audience can relate to, her audience is "screaming", highly likely from happiness, as they see themselves and their problems in what their elected vice-president says. In addition, speeches that can emotionally resonate with the public are seen as efficient speeches.

Furthermore, since Kamala is being natural when delivering the speech and speaking about what her audience can relate to, her audience is "screaming", highly likely from happiness, as they see themselves and their problems in what their elected vice-president says.

Also, because of the reason Kamala is being natural when speaking and talking about the things that her audience can relate to, her audience is "screaming" as they see themselves in what she says.

Speaker - Who is she? How can you describe the speaker? How does she deliver her message?

To begin with, the speaker is the person who delivers the message to the listeners. In the video, the speaker is Kamala Harris, the first black woman to be the vice president in the USA, and she is giving her victory speech after being elected as a vice-president. Well, she turns out to be a very energetic woman and, of course, a good speaker because of her excellent way of delivering the speech. Actually, your success as a speaker highly depends on the way you speak. For example, if you yourself are interested in what you are talking and are enthusiastic about it, there is high chance that your audience will find it interesting too. Being enthusiastic is just one of the many ways to become a good speaker which I learned from the book. The more enthuasisitic you are about what you talk, the more natural you sound and the closer you will be to your audience.
