Our ReStore sells donated furniture, appliances, and building supplies at reasonable prices – and all of the proceeds go to help build more houses. Donate, volunteer, or shop at the ReStore – you’ll be making a difference. I didn't find much on this subject. We are flying and obviously cannot bring our own chairs and umbrella. Do the beaches rent them or is there someplace you can rent them. We will be staying in Dennisport. I don't know about renting but there are two shops on Rt. 6 in South Wellfleet that sell all sorts of inexpensive beach gear. I'm sure there are shops elsewhere closer to you. If you're staying at a hotel, they may have some to borrow or can direct you to an inexpensive shop. If you're renting a cottage, they often provide beach chairs. Ask at your lodging and they can direct you. As ting mentioned, most cottages have beach chairs. Here is a place that rents beach equipment:They rent things I never knew I needed! But they do rent kayaks and they deliver--wasn't someone asking about that recently?

I guess I'm surprised they don't rent on the beach. That is a big business in North and South Carolina at the beaches. One destination mentioned in this post I would recommend checking out Ocean State job lot, Wings, Benny's or Christmas tree shops for reasonably priced beach items. You can then donate the items if you can't take them with you. The prices may be cheaper than renting. Last week at Nauset Beach in Orleans I noticed that they do rent chairs and umbrellas. The Steamer Trunk in West Dennis on RT 28 at the Curve just before the Christmas Tree Shop (If you are coming from D-Port) has all stuff beach related, you can't miss it really because it has umbrellas, floats, boogie boards etc out on the front lawn. Also as people have mentioned, Benny's Ocean State Job Lot, and Christmas Tree Shops might have some depending on when you go. Tradewinds at the Orleans Rotary also has beach gear. When we were in your shoes we purchased cheap chairs every year and skipped the umbrella.

We are also in Dennisport. In June we rented a bike rack from Essential Rentals in Yarmouth. If you contact them at least a week in advance you'll get free delivery. Lastly when you go out to Nauset Beach in East Orleans you'll be able to rent everything that you want. I know what you mean about these rentals being big business elsewhere. Sounds like a business opportunity??? 2 destinations mentioned in this post Speaking of beach chairs: Anyone know of a source for old-fashioned webbed aluminum tubed lawn chairs? I need to replace a couple and haven't found any place that has em -- though a summer stuff shop in So Yarmouth (Pizazz or similar) had one that was close to it -- K-Mart had web strap chairs but with STEEL frames so way too heavy. I know it's late in season but maybe for next summer, I can find some...I don't want any other kind as these work the best for my needs.
