Even though it is branded as a Delta Children product, there is almost nothing that would indicate that it is one. More importantly, there's nothing to justify the exorbitant price.1. The foam parts weren't enclosed in plastic for shipping. They just stuffed it inside a box hoping that it wouldn't get damaged during shipping.3. It's difficult to assemble even if you read the instructions. (I've installed plenty of IKEA furniture as well as KidCraft kitchen sets, so I'm not a newbie.) The instructions aren't clear and they are missing steps and details.
Even after trial and error it still doesn't feel or look completely right.4. The cover isn't smooth or soft. The pictures on Amazon look too smooth. I'm not even sure if the pictures I'll post will convey the rough material.5. It looks horrible in person, much worse than the pictures.6. It's just a foam chair. There are plenty of foam chairs at toysrus that come pre-assembled that both look better and come at a lower price point. I really don't understand the advantage of this chair when the cover isn't water resistant or water proof. Is the foam safer than the foam found in other children's chairs? The marketing behind this product seems to be non-existent.I really don't understand the pricing for this chair. What's really strange is that you can find other already released Delta Children chairs with much better value.
