Designed for today’s movers and shakers, Buoy is a seat that’s as active as you are. Motion of the Ocean Inspired by the rocking of ocean buoys, its contoured base helps you tilt and swivel, engaging your core and keeping you moving throughout the day. We’ve Seen the Research Excessive sitting doesn’t do anything to boost your wellbeing. Luckily, experts say that combatting negative sedentary effects can be as simple as interrupting your day often and making frequent posture changes. That’s where Buoy comes in. Core muscles fire up as you lean in and swivel, while legs work to keep you balanced, upright and focused on the task at hand. Perfect for quick tasks, Buoy will revolutionize the way you sit. The day doesn’t stop at five o’clock, and neither does Buoy. Designed to be a part of people’s active lifestyle, Buoy is as comfortable at home as it is in the classroom and the office. Or anywhere else people sit, for that matter. Size doesn’t matter—Buoy was designed for everyone.

Which is why Buoy provides five and a half inches of height adjustability with the lift of a lever. Plus, a curved base encourages active sitting. With a built-in handle and weighing only 20 lbs, Buoy is designed to go wherever you go. Got a touchdown meeting to attend? Need to focus on that project? At work, at home or anywhere in between, Buoy gets around. Put your personality on display with a cap that reflects who you are. Choose the color or pattern you love for a custom look that will keep you rocking in the office. Whether you want something bright or basic, Buoy has options to spare. Choose from six base colors to complement your cap selection, and we’ll have it delivered right to your door. Once your Buoy arrives, you’ll fall in love with the way it engages your core and delivers hours of fun. So go ahead—revel as you wobble and smile as you spin. It’s a moving experience.Learning how to sit comfortably while you're pregnant can protect your spine health and may even help reduce the risk of circulation problems.

As you approach your third trimester, the baby is large enough to exert constant pressure on your lungs, bladder and even your vasculature, including the largest vein in your body, the superior vena cava. This pressure is the underlying cause of the shortness of breath, frequent urination and swollen ankles that many soon-to-be mothers suffer, which may be alleviated with a few position changes. Gather personal items, such as your cell phone and TV remote, before sitting down. Energy conservation is important in the third trimester, when you may feel tired the majority of the time. Avoid that cushy, deep chair and opt for a higher one with firm back support. Deep or overstuffed chairs may be harder to lift out of as your pregnancy progresses. Grab some pillows to strategically position for comfort. You can place one at the small of your back, if it is sore, or sit on a small, soft pillow for rectal pain from hemorrhoids. Pull up the ottoman, more pillows or even the coffee table and get your feet propped up.

Swelling in the lower extremities, especially the feet and ankles, will get worse if you leave your feet dangling down while sitting. Keep your lower back as straight as possible to avoid slouching. Although it may feel good at first, poor posture will increase any breathing difficulty the baby might be causing. Keep your ankles and legs uncrossed. Crossing them can cause or exacerbate varicose veins in the legs and rectum. Try resting a pillow between your knees for comfort. Get up and change positions slowly to stave off a dizzy spell. Dizziness is common in the third trimester, especially with abrupt position changes. At Knott's Berry Farm we are proud of our reputation for accommodating guests with disabilities through our Ride Admission Policy. To continue to provide equal access for all guests, be aware that all guests with mobility impairments or ASD will now receive a Ride Boarding Pass with wait times. The Ride Boarding Pass Program allows guests to access rides at specified times via the exit ramp in order to avoid crowds and waiting in the regular queue lines.

You may be asking yourself whether Knott's Berry Farm is appropriate for guests with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or whether your loved one on the spectrum will be able to handle the theme park experience. Knott's Berry Farm has taken steps to be well-prepared to welcome and provide accommodations for all types of disabilities, including autism and related disorders. Guests who have a state issued placard or license plate for the disabled may park in any parking lot. All posted parking fees apply. All marked stalls reserved for the disabled are patrolled by the Buena Park Police Department and citations will be issued to vehicles not displaying a valid placard or plate. Knott's Berry Farm's drop-off area can be used to pick up or drop off guests with disabilities. Our drop-off area is located directly in front of the Grand Entrance. A Guest Service Associate is stationed at the pedestrian crosswalk, in the center of Grand Avenue, should you have any questions, or you can contact the Traffic Control Office direct at (714) 220-5014.

To enhance the visit of our guests with hearing impairments, hearing assistance devices are available at the Information Center, located next to the Grand Entrance of the Park. Rest rooms with wheelchair accessibility are signed accordingly and are located throughout the park in each themed area. At Knott's Berry Farm, we want all of our guests to have a safe and enjoyable day. Every guest has different capabilities and limitations. Guests of exceptional size, those with temporary disabilities (such as casts and braces), and certain permanent disabilities (such as neuromuscular disorders, amputations and other disabling conditions) may be prohibited from participating on some attractions for safety reasons. Hand-held infants may not be taken on the Park's more aggressive attractions. Expectant mothers and guests with heart or back conditions should be cautious in deciding which attractions to experience. For your protection, all the attractions here at Knott's Berry Farm incorporate safety systems that are designed by the manufacturer to accommodate people of average physical stature and body proportion.

All passenger restraint systems, including lap bars, shoulder harnesses and seat belts must be positioned and fastened properly to allow guests to ride. Due to rider restraint requirements, guests of exceptional size may not be accommodated on some of our attractions. This may apply, but not limited to, guests who exceed 6'2" or those who exceed 250 pounds, have a 46" waistline or 54" chest. Exceptionally large or small individuals, guests who have a history of heart, back or neck trouble or recent surgery, expectant mothers, guests with casts, braces, restrictive devices or disabilities may be affected by the requirements needed to ensure these systems operate properly. Our Ride Safety Policy has been developed in consultation with a bio-dynamics engineer and a rehabilitation specialist, on the recommendations of the manufacturer, our past experience, and our evaluation of each attraction using our knowledge of the attraction both in normal and emergency operating conditions. Our prime consideration is the ability of each guest to endure the dynamics of each attraction without the risk of injury to that guest or other riders.

If you would like more rider information, please request a "Rider Safety Guide" available at the Information Center, located at the Grand Entrance. We'll be happy to brief you on our Rider Safety Guide and explain how it applies to your specific situation. Most attractions cannot accommodate strollers, backpacks, cameras, stuffed animals, or bulky objects. Please leave them with a non-riding friend. Ride Operators cannot be responsible for these items. For safety reasons, eating/drinking, taking pictures, videotaping, and filming while participating on the attractions is prohibited. Headwear is discouraged on most attractions; however, if worn, it must be secured. All guests must meet all height and weight requirements for each attraction as posted at the attraction entrance. Guests with service animals should follow the same procedures on the attractions as those outlined for guests with mobility impairments. Because of the aggressive nature of some attractions, service animals may need to be left with a non-riding member of the guest's party.
