"Visited the store after seeing other wonderful reviews on yelp. Let's just say I was NOT disappointed! Spencer was honest, tremendously helpful, and the best it gets in a salesperson when you're going to be…" First, Select Cushion Color Mobis® I is an ergonomic task seat with attitude. Stripped of the conventional trappings of office chairs, Mobis's minimalist design actually works with your body. Mobis I offers the ideal level of healthy support for your body, keeping your spine in a neutral posture and your major muscles engaged. How does it work? Mobis I won't stand for slouching! It gently enforces good posture by returning your spine to its healthy S-curve. And, because the seat's angled design encourages movement, both your body and your brain stay engaged. Mobis I pairs perfectly with any standing desk or height-adjustable workstation. It's smart, space-saving design is also ideal for meeting spaces, encouraging spontaneous collaboration and aha-moments.

Want to make the Mobis I even more supportive? Make it a bundle and add the stabilizing foot rest (and save a few dollars while you're at it). That the seat isn't soft enough isn't a problem because you're not supposed to sit on it! You should keep the chair a bit higher than normal, pull it forward to lower it, then lean on it. After a while, the feet do get a tiny bit tired but far less so than standing on them.

I also bought the standing desk which is manufactured with the same integrity and high quality materials. At times you want to leave the chair and just stand at the desk which relaxes many muscles. The whole idea of using a high desk and standing may not be acceptable widely, because people just don't want to change their habits! Only people "with intelligence" have the amenity to take the road less travelled on. 2 of 2 people found the following review helpful: Eric from Kingston Ontario This is a great product that compliments at sit-stand work station. My only criticism is that the cushion seat  angle is not adjustable. Videos of the Locus product show an adjustable angle but this is not the case for the Mobis. When doing computer work where your torso is in a neutral position this is not a factor. However, when positioned in a forward flexed position to read or do other desk work the seat angle is still too flat to allow the optimal open hip angle. This results in contact with a small portion of the front of the seat, as opposed to distributing load across the whole surface of the seat.

It doesn't help that the seat is also quite firm and doesn't extend past the hard plastic underneath along the edges of the seat. All in all a great product that's definitely worth buying if you do mostly computer work. However a few design elements still need to be implemented to improve comfort in a forward flexed position.
