RCJNZ is a unique event that excites and motivatesStudents participating in RoboCup Junior New Zealand events may choose Robot Theatre, Rescue or Soccer. Students may use any brand of robot, provided they can be programmed and are not remote controlled.

Students are also encouraged to build their own robots. Participants program their robots to move to music or a soundtrack. Competitors are encouraged to give their robots real personality. Theatre entries range from the simple to the sophisticated. This is a good entry level competition but also offers unlimited opportunities for advanced students to challenge themselves. Each team has one, two or three robots, a dance floor, music and 1 to 2 minutes to choreograph a dance, tell a story or offer a themed presentation. Robots can be any size or shape. The use of decorations, props and costume is encouraged. The Rescue competition mirrors the real life use of robots that rescue people from life-threatening situations. Robots use light or colour sensors to follow a line to a designated rescue area, then "rescue" a victim. The build of the robot is an important part of this challenge. Students are required to design and program two robots to compete against an opposing pair of robots by kicking an infra-red transmitting ball into their designated goal.

This is a rewarding challenge for students with some programming experience. "Educational robotics is proven to promote STEM interests among students. The hands-on, project-based and goal-oriented learning experience that an educational robotics competition provides has long-lasting impacts on students' learning and motivation for further exploring in STEM or STEM related fields." It was released on 11 November 2011 as the third single lifted from his debut studio album + (2011).[1] It was released as the second single in the US on 11 February 2013.

[2] It was written by Sheeran, Jake Gosling and Chris Leonard, and produced by Jake Gosling. The song received its first radio play on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show on 8 September 2011[3] and was Sheeran's first song to make the BBC Radio 2 playlist. The remix featuring P Money premiered on MistaJam's BBC Radio 1Xtra show on 30 September 2011. The music video features Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint, as a play on their similar appearance. The song did fairly well worldwide, reaching top 5 on Australia, Ireland, New Zealand, and the UK Singles Chart, and top 50 on other countries including United States. According to the sheet music published by Jordan James EMI Music Publishing, "Lego House" is a bass song written in the key of B major; Sheeran's vocals range from the note of B3 to G#4. Instrumentation is provided by guitar and piano. The video for "Lego House" was filmed at the Forum, University of Hertfordshire. It stars actor Rupert Grint. It was released on 20 October 2011 on Sheeran's YouTube channel.

Screenshot of the video "Lego House" showing Grint cuddling a hand-made doll which has Sheeran's face on it. The video's narrative at first portrays Grint as Sheeran, performing such activities as writing lyrics for the song on a pad of paper, lounging in his tour bus, and ultimately taking the stage for a cheering crowd. However, after Grint takes the stage and he is immediately tackled by security, it is slowly revealed that Grint is actually stalking Sheeran and is an obsessive fan, and that the events of the video were actually him stalking the real Ed Sheeran with increasing severity and mental instability (writing the song was actually transcribing the lyrics from the album cover, and lounging in the bus was him breaking into it), ending with Sheeran and Grint meeting as Grint is forcibly removed from a music venue and Sheeran comes out of a lift. A "Lego-fied" version of the original music video for "Lego House" was released on April 11, 2013 on The Warner Sound's YouTube channel.

[5] The video is a shot for shot recreation in LEGO bricks, directed by Dylan Woodley. The music video also got nominated for 2013 MTV Video Music Awards for Best Male Video before losing out to Bruno Mars' "Locked Out of Heaven".
