Heck, Emma Stone was almost as excited about her Lego sculpture as Julianne Moore was about her real Oscar. The Lego creations were incredibly impressive and even held up past the show and through the Vanity Fair after party. Now that's a feat. (And some good glue.) Also a feat: constructing these fantastic statuettes, brick by brick. The man behind the magic is New York-based Lego artist Nathan Sawaya and he created 20 of these pieces for the show.

"The team behind The Lego Movie approached me. They wanted to do something extra special for the Academy Award performance of best song nominee 'Everything is Awesome,'" Sawaya told Crave. "They had seen my earlier version of a Lego Oscar statue, and I was happy to take on the challenge." And, in case you're wondering, every statue is made of 500 bricks. "Each one is glued together so that the Lego bricks won't come apart," Sawaya said. Now be prepared to be blown away by this 3-second video of the creation of a Lego Oscar: It takes something truly remarkable to get this reaction out of Oprah, the woman who has everything. What’s New on Netflix: March 2017 The History of the Comic That Inspired Logan and Revolutionized the Marvel Brand The Oscars Stage Manager Tells All, Says He Was Stunned by PwC Accountant Incompetence Reese Witherspoon’s Performance on Big Little Lies Is the Best of Her Career After Winning His Oscar, Casey Affleck Addresses Sexual Harassment Allegations

Looks like he used a lot of Kragle! Now, can anyone slow this down and get us a parts list? But don’t let anyone catch you with the real thing! LEGO BrickMaster Nathan Sawaya only made twenty of the statuettes for the Oscars last night, and intended them to be “priceless limited edition” collectibles. He hopes they don’t wind up on eBay, but would be willing to make another one – in exchange for a real Oscar.
