Sounds dumb I know but I always soothe my guilt for leaving my kids behind by bringing home some Lego. Now that the big toy store in Forum Shops is closed I don't know where to get any. An item that is $100 in the states is $125 in Canada, despite the fact that our dollar is worth 5% more. Thanks for the help! I just checked the Lego site, and there are no Lego stores in Nevada...but there are a couple WalMart stores in the strip area but can't think at the moment the streets they are on. (you would have to do a car rental or a cab though) One destination mentioned in this post There's a Toys R Us at 4000 S Maryland Pkwy, just North of Flamingo Rd - two miles from the strip (at Flamingo). Toys R Us will do it...... Your time in Vegas is too precious to be schlepping around buying something you can get from Amazon before your trip. The kid won't know or care where you bought it. I hear ya Zeke, and sometimes I agree. But if you could see how much it means to them, and I don't like the feeling of not being truthful with them.

In todays world we try so hard to impress upon our kids how important it is to communicate honestly with us that I would just like to keep my side of the street clean, so to speak. I get 5 days to myself, and I enjoy the hour I spend on them. It makes me feel like a good Dad. I might be tempted to take a shortcut...but my daughter no way, lol. Doing what feels right to you is definitely the way to go. BTW drugstores up here in Canada usually have a toy section, and I know there is a Rite Aid (?) on the strip, perhaps they might have some. We bought Indiana Jones Lego sets at the Target Store at Maryland Parkway. I checked the website and they still carry lego. Since you have children who love Legos we have a Lego Land opening here in Florida in Oct. They bought out Cypress Gardens in Winter Haven and have changed it over. I imagine this would really sooth your guilt. i would go to the target store or walmart , they would have much better selection than the toys r us, that store has certainly gone downhill in recent years.... at least here in las vegas, no one i know even shops there anymore.

Target & Toys r us don't have it. Are there any tops shops that stock Lego near the casino's - he is staying at the Rio on Flamingo .

He leaves to come back to Australia on Friday. I dont know if theres a Walmart close by there, but they have a thing called site to store where if you can find it online, they can usually get it to the nearest store fairly quickly. I would look into that. There are no toys stores on the actual strip in any of the hotels or malls. I agree with the Walmart suggestion, there should be a few he could choose from. The mall might hhave a lego stote Which mall & where. I checked on the internet and it says there is no Lego Store in Las Vegas. just looked it up on legodotcom no lego store in Nevada sorry. Doesn't Fao Schwarz in the Forum Shoppes still have a good selection? That's one of my favourite toy stores of all time i believe the boulevard mall as well as the galleria at sunset mall have a K B toys store, you could call the store to see if they have it. after looking on the walmart website, they are showing they dont know if its available or not in the LV area stores, you might try calling all of them to see if they have it ,there are quite a few.

i believe the fao schwarz store closed in 2010 Edited: 1:07 am, March 02, 2011 FAO Swartz is now a chocolate store called Mac Brenner. They dont sell Legos there too I'd just get on the phone with a Wal-Mart and a Target. Any store should be able to check the inventory at all the stores in Vegas. Yeah, it might require a cab ride to go get it, but probably easier than trying to hunt around the Strip.“I'm running out of reasons to head to the Strip (especially considering the looming parking fees), but the Lego Store keeps on bringing me back to Fashion Show Mall.” “There's even a back wall chock full of various Lego goodies so if you are looking for sets, you can buy bins full of individual bricks.” “They even carry all the hard to find large sets (simpsons, death star) They have a better selection than Legoland!” "So, I was very reluctant to write this review.
