ALPS Mountaineering Foam Camping Mat (Extra Large 625)||It was marginally better, but I'm ready to toss this thing in ...||I think this might be the first time I've rated something 2 stars. This mat might work well for other people, but I've never slept so badly as on this thing. I'm fairly heavy and a side sleeper, and my hips and shoulder were constantly sore during the night to the point that I couldn't fall asleep. My arms kept falling asleep too. After barely sleeping the first night of a camping trip, I tried folding it in half, so that it was twice as thick, and still covered my shoulders to my hips. It was marginally better, but I'm ready to toss this thing in the trash.I'll probably keep it in case I want to bring it for extra thermal insulation or something. It's incredibly light, so it's got that going for it.Before I bought this, I had the Big Agnes Double Z Sleeping Pad). At the time, I thought it was uncomfortable because it's super skinny and I couldn't stay on it during the night (plus I like to curl up on my side).
