I ordered it for my daughter's birthday party which was on December 3rd, not as a present but for seating at the party, not quite sure what I would do with it after the party. It finally arrived December 23rd, which was a huge disappointment. Secondly, it wasn't the same product as shown in the picture. The pictures and description describe anot 8 foot lounger that one or two people could lay on. The one that arrived is more of a circle and you definitely couldn't lay on it. It is a completely different product all together. AND, I ordered two of them. Now I have two bean bag chairs that I don't want. I'm love mine, 2 adults can sleep on it. However it could use more stuffing "I just got my bean bag in the mail and I'm wondering why the tag on the cover says "Le Pouf" if this was advertised as a "Christopher Knight Home" product? Also, the specs above say "machine wash" but the instruction sheet in the package says "spot clean." Although it's my belief best if not terribly soiled-keep all spills, spot cleaned. The cover can and could be washed. Though I myself never want the hassle of trying to get the insides back 'in the bag'. Lol...hoping this helps with your question. It was , of course no more than Styrofoam. Full of electricity, natch ! Our son had used the bag as a child. Now, at 15 years old Ole mom thought he and or his friends could sit in/on it while playing Xbox. They didn't use it all. Tried giving it, stuffing away-no one had a case, big enough. This is what's funny. I decided to bag it in a garbage bag. It just couldn't be done. Haha- finally 'dumped' it in the wash tub, filled with mums, late Fall. I haven't tried using it as a bed, just lounge on it while playing video games (so I haven't tried laying on it for 9 hours straight) but I find it holds me quite comfortably. You don't sink through all the stuffing and find yourself sitting on the floor like happens with some bean bags (especially when you are my size...). Highly recommend this bean bag.
