Such a special time. The store is beautiful and they treat their customers right! Cons They expect too much from their employees. Hard to get tasks done when you have to drop everything to take care of the customer. It's hard to have it both ways. Advice to Management Please have departments work together as a team to get things done so there is some sort of balance. Some departments require a lot more maintenance than others. I don't think that is recognized. Wonderful if you enjoy fast paced. Many return customers so you can build relationships. Perfect customer service training and philosophies that I have carried into every job since. Cons Us coworkers were very close, like family, which sometimes resulted in gossip. Nothing that kind confrontation and discussion couldn't fix. Advice to Management talk to employees with respect Dec 7, 2016 I worked at buybuy BABY (More than a year) Pros Great benefits and customer services Cons Not enough hours and no advacement Advice to Management Energetic and love team players Dec 1, 2016 Helpful (1) Pros Decent wage, not a cookie cutter company, management gets to make decisions very customer service oriented, if you love customer service, you will like it here Cons Customer service, zero backing from district management and above if your decision leads to a complaint regardless of circumstances. Asst mgr required to work a minimum of 50 hrs a week, store managers somewhat above that. 20% discount is same that customers get with coupons. Policy's so weak that employees don't know what to do, DM's preach policy then use it against you if a customer complains. Small but growing company. Limited advancement when next closest store is an hour and a half commute. Advice to Management Support your store teams better. Hire minors, they need a start some where and can be very important to fulfilling your staffing needs.
