I have used the Jobri - F1430 - Accent Wood Office Kneeling Chair - Wood - Adjustable Height and the Varier Balans and I greatly prefer the Balans chair.
Pros:- comfortable- promotes nice curve in lumbar spine- knee pad distributes pressure nicely (this is a key advantage of the Varier Balans versus the Jobri chair. notice the knee pads on the Jobri are smaller and therefore apply more pressure on the knees.- the rocker base and separate knee pads allow the right amount of flex and promote subtle movement in your posture and engages your core. In my opinion this is a major advantage over fixed kneeling chairs like Jobri.Cons:- seat cushion could do with more padding. Becomes uncomfortable after 3-4 hours of sitting- a little awkward to move into position at my desk and to step into. Sometimes I bump into the chair with my feet while trying to sit down and this could potentially cause a fall if your not careful.
