Bunkbed twin/full white BE-4502-WH We are looking at staying at Anaheim from the 1st of December checking out the evening of the 3rd (we will book an extra night for late checkout) due to our plane back to Sydney leaving at 11pm. We have two boys aged 9 & 11 and would like to book a good hotel (3/4 star) around USD$20 per night We want a room that has bunk beds and a queen bed in one room and also include breakfast if possible. We would like to be able to see the fire works at night and be able to walk to Disneyland & Disney California or a hotel that includes transport to and from. I don't want to put our kids on a sofa bed our oldest is too big to sleep with his brother well on a sofa bed. I can't imagine any hotel, much less a 3/4 star one, having bunk beds due to liability issues. No doubt you mean $200 a night, not $20. In Anaheim you are more likely to find some bunk beds but you may need to look at the Motels across the road rather than Hotels.

Many of these motels are basic but clean, with pools, include breakfast (type depends on the motel). The room configurations in some of the family suites in these may be what you are after. The Desert Inn & Suites have a Parlour Suite and whilst it doesn't have bunk beds it has 2 queens and then a sofa in the small lounge room area. You could have parents in one bed, one child in the other bed and then one child on the sofa. I am sure that there are a few places in Anaheim with bunk beds though. I I think I remember seeing rooms at the Howard Johnson (a bit longer walk) with bunks when I was looking for accomodation. The suite at Howard Johnson with bunk beds has a separate room for the bunks and a king in the other room. Breakfast is not included. There are quite a few hotels in Anaheim that have bunk beds. They call them "family suites" usually. I would forget the star ratings since they seem to mean very different things in the U.S. vs other spots in the world.

Look at the Springhill Suites Anaheim Resort Convention Center. Also Howard Johnson's, Courtyard Theme Park Entrance and Homewood Suites by Hilton Anaheim Resort - Convention Center One attraction mentioned in this post Ranked of 150 things to do in Anaheim There are hardly any 4 star properites, and the 3 star ones are fine in the area and well rated new options are available if you want a nicer Hotel.. The best one that comes to mind is the brand new Courtyard Anaheim... Its going to be around $250 a nite though for your dates likely. But its also going to have a water Park ( it may or may not be nice enough weather to use it). And its going to be in about a 10 min walk as its across the street from the Disneyland Main Entrance. And it has the bunk beds you are looking for. Some rooms would have a view of Disneyland. Your dates will likely be pretty good crowdwise, but shorter hours as they are weekdays. However, this year there is a special Perk for the 60th Anniversary where they will show a nightly 60th Anniversary Fireworks show and new Paint the night Parade.

There will also be a nightly World of Color show, and a daily Christmas Parade as your dates would be Christmastime at Disneyland. Edited: 6:23 pm, September 20, 2015 One destination mentioned in this post We stayed in the Hyatt regency orange grove, loved it, kids suite, bunk beds(double on bottom), large room with their own TV, other room king size bed, tv, fridge and microwave, own shuttle for small fee, plenty of dinning options surrounding the Hyatt. Not within walking distance but definitely 4 star Also just did a quick search, from $149 U.S. per night, on sale Edited: 9:06 pm, September 20, 2015 I would not trade off the walkability of the hotels mentioned so far for the Hyatt Regency. You have no idea how convenient and underestimate how important a mid-day break can be. Hyatts bunk beds are nice. With boys 9 & 11, not sure if a mid-day break is needed. But you know your kids better than us. So you decide whether 4 star bunk bed hotel shuutle ride away is exactly what uou're looking for.

Or a 2-3 star bunk bed walking distance away. Edited: 12:30 am, September 21, 2015 The Courtyard Anaheim is brand new and.. is at least a 3 star property likely a 3.5. Its too new to rate that way as it just opened. I would not get Hung up on "star" property values, they dont really apply in alot of places including Anaheim Imo. Imo a 3 or 3.5 star is going to be just as nice as a 4 star property. And it does make a huge difference being able to stay in close walking distance at a brand new Hotel with all that walking around Disneyland which can average about 10 miles per day at a low average. To be able just to walk across the street and not hassle with a Shuttle service is priceless to alot of people. But the op will have to choose what is most important to them. Its just nice to know there are now quite a few new options for nicer Hotels in walking distance and others opening soon. One day in Disneyland - what are your must-dos please? Walking from Eden Roc to east side DTD entrance
