The short answer is no, not necessarily. Setting up your Leesa with a bed frame is entirely your choice. Bed frames are commonly used to position a mattress and box foundation so that the bed stays in place and to raise the mattress off of the floor. Or when setting up a headboard or canopy as both require a bed frame. We do strongly recommend placing your Leesa mattress on a stable, rigid base whether that's a traditional metal frame with foundation, a platform bed or a slatted bed. Considering an adjustable base? The Leesa mattress is ideal for adjustable beds because of the way the foam contours to movement. The Westin Heavenly Bed Nothing restores your mind and body like restful sleep. We are new to our area-Phoenix_ and my husband has heard that you have to get their mattresses to fit the bed frames they sell. The beds are a great deal- but we already have a queen mattress we just bought.

Their mattresses are rather costly. This is for our 14 yr old daughter who is pretty careful, so I am not too worried if the frame is not high end. Please note: we recommend decompressing the mattress before 30 days. All memory foam mattresses are designed to work on a flat, sturdy, non-spring foundation. We highly recommend purchasing a foundation made specifically for memory foam mattresses. Using an inadequate foundation will void the mattress warranty. All foundations, platform beds, & adjustable beds we offer are qualified foundations. If you choose to use your existing box springs, it must be flat, sturdy, and not have spaces wider than 5 inches on the surface. If you can press the foundation down with your hand, it is not sturdy enough. If it is nice and sturdy, but has spacing on the top surface wider than 5 inches, you can use a piece of 3/8 inch plywood on top of your box springs to cover the gaps. Here is a link to our memory foam foundations. If you have any questions please contact us. Yes, all of our foams are CertiPUR-US® certified, which means they do not contain any harmful chemicals.
