Boris Slutsky —  I have judged some people, I'm aware

Стихотворения

I have judged some people, I'm aware

judging people isn't very hard affair

But with time it can be quite disheartened

if, by any chance, you think about it.

Hundred pounds of flesh, what are they?

For judging other flesh they have no ground.

I will never ever judge another,

I should rather be a leader than a crowd.

I should rather work as a schoolmaster,

in a bookshop doing some assistance,

be a football referee, well, just to

act as watchful gaping judge, for instance.

If these judges have a dream, however,

in their sleep they won't begin to shout.

As for us we will. without doubt,

shout and remember it for ever.

My experience is wicked and incongruous,

and I cannot make myself forget it...

Well, this poem is improper and erroneous,

I'm wrong. I wish I were corrected.
