This book is about the love story of Cupid and Psyche. In this book is told about the beginning they can fall in love. In addition, this book also tells about how they passed their love test, which they did not easily pass because they were not from the same circle. The author also tells how the twists and turns of the love journey of a god and ordinary people, which is of course, it will not be easy for them to pass through. Until in the end, they were able to unite in eternal love .This story is taken from Greek mythology. So, I think the author creates this book is to entertain and tell the reader about the one of the Greek mythology which is the Greeks might believe that. Beside that, maybe the author also wants to show about the power of love from creature who are in different circles but they can still be united.
I chose this book because I want to know how the writer write about the Cupid and Psyche's love story. However, I do not recommend this book for children because it tells the story of love. In addition, the author uses language that is difficult to understand, so this book is not suitable for children. So, I recommend this book for mature readers. Beside that, I am also not satisfied with this book because the author is less coherent in describing the story, so I have a little difficulty in understanding the story. I know this, because before I had read a book with the same title because this book is about Greek mythology, so many books are similar to this book. So, the book that I previously read is clearer and more coherent than this book.
But on the other hand, this book also has a positive thing. After reading this book, my vocabulary has increased because this book uses language that is difficult to understand and of course,I have found many new vocabularies.
In conclusion, this book is still good to read, because it contains Greek mythology, so that when we read this book our insights will increase. and when we can wisely respond to the story, we will get the moral value in the story. like, how can we not be influenced by what other people say and trust more partners and much more. So, I recommend this book for people who have a relationship so they can learn from the mistakes that exist in this love story from this book.
