Then this is the chair for you!Five Stars|love love love| Beautiful Chair with Lots of Options|The chair look and feels great and can be many things. It can be used as a cradle (without the table or footrest), as a high chair (as shown) or simply a chair without the table. It also kind of reminds me of a barber's chair in that it can be raised or lowered and recline in three different positions. It did take a while to assemble as the instruction manual only had pictures with no words (kind of building a lego set), but you can watch a video here [...]. I would also warn people not to buy this chair with the old seat liners (Bloom Fresco Contemporary Baby Chair, Seat Pad With Harness Set (Large+Small Pads) Coconut White (Leatherette). Although Amazon recommends the two, they are NOT compatible. Not easy to use| See all customer images

And then there’s the Bloom Fresco Contemporary Baby Chair ($400). The name may be a bit of a mouthful, but the chair is one of the sleekest, coolest pieces of baby gear we’ve ever laid eyes on. And it’s designed to last from newborn right up to 79 lb (or approximately 8 years old). That’s right, from birth to school age, this chair has a configuration for every kid in your house! Check out our review below: This chair is beautiful — and incredibly functional. It can be used from birth in cradle mode as a great place for baby’s quiet alert times.

And when your tot is ready to explore the world of solid foods, it will adapt and become a terrific high chair. But it doesn’t stop there. Once your kid becomes a preschooler, it transforms into a fabulous chair for at the table or anywhere else in the house. We love the special Comfort Nest, an insert that helps make sure your child isn’t swimming in her high chair. We’ve all seen those baby chairs that are way too big for a tiny baby. Thanks to this innovative addition, this isn’t one of them. The Fresco chair swivels and locks, raises and lowers, reclines, and even glides for easy relocation within a room. We love that it can be so many different things for a growing child. And that it doesn’t sacrifice a sleek appearance for such high functionality. We also love the adaptability of the appearance of the chair. If you move, redecorate or have another baby, all it takes is a new seat pad and you’ll have a brand new chair to match your décor. This has got to be the most expensive high chair on the market.

Yes, it will last years and years, but it’s a very steep investment for a family to make right when they’re investing in other baby gear, too. It’s also a little complicated to set up. All the straps and tabs and screws and buckles can be a little overwhelming. However, the chair comes with an excellent DVD User Guide which makes everything, however complicated, seem very simple. For families looking to splurge (or for family members looking to pool together for a perfect baby shower gift), this incredible baby chair is an excellent investment. It’s gorgeous, to say the least. And we love the fact that it grows with your child, ensuring that it will be in the family for years to come.Skip to main content Bloom Fresco Contemporary Baby Chair Stylish and contemporary design with loads of features and a long life, but bulky and difficult to move. Suitable for newborns, recline 3-position recline, 360 degree swivel, various height settings, 3-position footrest, two tray options, wide range of seat cover colours, beautiful design

Expensive, bulky, heavy, difficult to recline, tricky to clean Compare deals from top retailers If you want an adjustable highchair but worry your super-stylish living space will suffer, then the chic and modern Bloom Fresco Contemporary Baby Chair is the highchair for you. Weaning my son was one of my favourite milestones and as soon as he started grabbing food from our plates, we started our search for the perfect highchair. We wanted something that would suit our kitchen – I couldn’t bear the idea of a plastic monstrosity detracting from its sleek and modern design! The Bloom Fresco Contemporary Baby Chair was perfect – and it complimented my dining chairs! The Bloom Fresco has been awarded a range of design and innovation awards, including The Netherlands Best Baby & Infant Product 2009. The space-age design of the Bloom Fresco is simply stunning – better looking than any other highchair I’ve seen. There’s a 5-point padded safety harness with adjustable shoulders, so your baby is really secure and it swivels 360 degrees, which is great for getting your baby in and out or for a better feeding position.

There’s a pneumatic-assist device for raising (up to 104cm) and lowering (93cm) the chair so it can be easily adapted to various tables or countertops. The new Loft version can be extended up to 116cm, so it’s perfect if your kitchen has a breakfast bar. And there’s also the 3-position footrest that can be adjusted for a comfy sitting position, whatever your child’s age.The really unique thing about this highchair is that it’s suitable for newborns. The seat has three recline positions, so if you buy a Bloom Snug (£25) it can be used as a cute cocoon-like daytime bed for little ones. As your child grows you can remove the tray and use the chair at the table. My 2-year-old is using his Bloom Fresco like this at the moment and it’s ideal for eating, playing and drawing. The Bloom Fresco comes with two trays – a super-sized feeding tray (perfect for finger foods or when your toddler is learning to feed himself) as well as a small play tray. Both can be easily removed and are dishwasher safe.

There are two seat cover options: micro-suede (£39) or leatherette (£59). Both can be wiped clean and come in a huge range of vibrant colours that will suit any home. Because the Bloom Fresco Contemporary Baby Chair is so versatile, it is a pricey option – it’s recommended retail price is £270, which will include one micro-suede seat cover - but you’ll be able to use it until your child is around 4 years old (or up to 36kg). What to watch out for At 13.8kg this is a heavy highchair and although it has wheels in the base, I find it difficult to move. The Fresco Bloom’s wide base (68cm) means it takes up a lot of floor space and because it’s so big and bulky you can’t put it away when it’s not in use. Getting the seat to recline is also a bit tricky.Although the seat cover is wipe-clean, it does start to look a bit grubby and faded after a while. However, replacement covers are available. It’s also quite fiddly to take seat cover and the safety straps off if you want to give the Bloom Fresco a good clean.
