It's the little things that make a difference, you can add one of our range of covers and cushions to really spruce up your outdoor space. Mix together 1 tsp. dishwashing detergent and 1 tsp. Borax in 1 quart warm water. Put the mixture in a spray bottle. Generously saturate the cushions on both sides with the solution. Do not be frugal -- it will clean off the mold and mildew. Be sure to get all the crevices and creases.
The more you put on now, the less you will have to do when you wash it off. Let the cleaning solution sit for 15 minutes. Then with the garden hose on high, spray the cushions thoroughly to knock the dirt and cleaning solution off the cushions. Stand the cushions up on edge to let them dry to just damp. Spray the cushions with a fabric protector. This will both protect them and make them easier to clean in the future. Most of the time, canvas can be machine washed and then put back on the furniture while it is damp to stretch the material back into shape. However, if you can't remove the canvas, use a scrub brush and rub it across the bar of Fels-Naptha soap and then rub the brush back and forth on the canvas. You may have to do this a few times — don't be afraid to really lather it up. Fels-Naptha soap works well for canvas awnings. It does a good job removing bird droppings and many stains. Once you get the canvas nice and clean, take the hose or a spray bottle and rinse it off.

As Loll material is a post-consumer recycled material, the medium to create the material does inevitably fluctuate. Although we do continuously strive for the best consistency possible, material color and texture may slightly vary from sheet to sheet and thus product to product may have slight variances. However, with that said, its nothing to worry about as we do our best to catch these inconsistencies in the shop. We also use USA made brass inserts mated with a 304 grade stainless steel bolt in all joinery. Richlite paper composite is used for structural elements in some pieces. Arbor Wood thermally modified wood can also be found in a select few products. All our materials are chosen for their high quality, no maintenance, performance and longevity. Is there ultraviolet (UV) stability in Loll material?Loll products are manufactured with a highly weatherable HDPE sheet. Our post consumer resin includes a superior UV additive designed for plastics that improves exterior durability, greatly reducing characteristic surface degradation caused by sunlight and other UV light sources. Pigments / color concentrates are also added that are formulated with the best weathering pigments available in the market in a particular color-space.
Is fading covered under warranty?The sun is very hard on materials that have constant direct exposure and we cannot guarantee the material color will not change over time. However, the HDPE that Loll uses has a UV stabilizer and is very resistant to fading. The color is not a finish coat; it is a pigment embedded in the material throughout. Some pieces use Richlite natural paper composite. Richlite will patina as it weathers and the lighter, natural colored material will redden or turn grayish. Black will remain black for years but with some apparent weathering. You will never have to paint or stain Loll Furniture. Will I see any change of color in my product? The good news is that in most applications probably not. Further, darker colors are naturally much more resistant to change than lighter colors. Loll furniture is mostly shipped flat packed to reduce the size of the box and thus the shipping costs. Some pieces are shipped knocked down (partially assembled) and a few products are shipped fully assembled. Check on the Product Page or contact Customer Service if you have any questions or concerns. We have gone to great lengths to make our furniture assembly very simple and even enjoyable and fulfilling. Your shipment will include easy-to-follow instructions and a tool to assemble the furniture. A Pro Tool Kit is available for purchase when you checkout and we recommend it if you have a larger multi-piece order. These are the same tools our furniture craftspeople use in the shop. Loll furniture will not rot or splinter. It will never require paint or stain. Mostly you will find a simple hose-off will do the trick when it gets a little dirty. If there is a little more dirt, a simple wet rag and a natural spray cleaner should be sufficient to keep Loll furniture clean. A garden hose and a soft bristle brush or a microfiber towel works great if there is dirt embedded in the texture.
