Beta
Dear ProtonVPN community,
2018 will be a busy year for us as we add more features to ProtonVPN. A key part of that is getting feedback directly from the community which we serve.
We recently released the first version of the ProtonVPN Android app, but we plan to add many new features to make it even better. In order to involve the community in this process, we are starting a new beta program for Android.
Participants in the program will receive early access to the new versions of the Android ProtonVPN app with new features and bugfixes before they become publicly available, and are invited to give feedback to the team.
If you are already an Android Beta user, please uninstall the version of the app that was installed by Crashlytics and install the official version from the Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.protonvpn.android
To register for the new beta, visit the bottom of the ProtonVPN Play Store page where there is an option to join the beta program (click where it says "I'm in").
You can also register by signing up at the following link with your Android Play Store (Google) Account: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.protonvpn.android
Note, this only works if you first uninstall the beta from Crashlytics.
If you are not a participant of the old Crashlytics beta program, you do NOT need to uninstall the ProtonVPN app you downloaded from the Play Store, because the beta version will automatically replace it (this happens whenever your Android device updates its apps).
