Founded in 1932, Lego has since grown to become one of the most famous toy manufacturers in history. The much-loved toy building bricks provide a fun way for children and big kids to use their imagination and make things likes houses, castles, airplanes, and boats. However, if you have purchased loose Lego bricks then you will be on your own when it comes to building instructions. Building a free-form Lego house from scratch is easy when you follow these simple instructions. Lego roof, picket fences, trees, windows, doors, flowers, and pets Place your Lego base on a flat surface. Build the foundations of your Lego house on the base. The most basic Lego house will have a rectangular foundation. The shape and size that you decide to create should depend on the time you have to build the house as well as the number of bricks you have available. Begin building the outside walls of the house.
Do this by building upwards, row by row, on the foundations that you just created. Remember to incorporate Lego windows and doors to make your Lego house look more realistic. To create a brick-like pattern, choose to offset each row of bricks so that the Lego seams don't all line up perfectly. This will also help to ensure that your Lego house fits together properly. Always push down each brick firmly so that it is securely held in place before moving on to the next row. Build the interior walls inside of your home. Where will the lounge area be? How about the kitchen? Where are you going to put the bathroom? Create furniture for each of the rooms. You can use small bricks to create dining table, chairs, an oven, and a sink. For the bathroom, you can create a bath and a shower. These small details will make your Lego house more fun to play with. Create the roof of your Lego house. If you have special Lego roof tiles or bricks, then use these to create a sloped roof.
If you don't have roof tiles, you can attach several flat Lego pieces together or even use a Lego base on the top of your Lego house. Place a Lego picket fence around the outside of your Lego base. Add some special features to the outside of your house, such as Lego flowers, trees, and pets. You can now play with your Lego house. Small Lego pieces can be a choking hazard, so always follow the safety instructions on the box. Remember to attach the roof after you have completed building the inside of the house so that you don't have to keep removing it. You could also purchase a hinged roof, which will give you access to the inside of the house without having to take the whole roof off. To create a second floor in your house, just create another foundation using a smaller Lego board and then place this board over your existing walls. Have fun when designing your Lego house.
