Developed after years of refining and testing existing memory foam sleep products, Serta’s revolutionary Cool Action™ Gel Memory Foam material led to an entirely new category of sleep systems. Inspired by NASA’s original memory foam technology, Serta improved on the original product by adding its Cool Action™ Dual Effects® material, which increased the gel content by 25% for added comfort and support.  To maximize comfort, every iComfort mattress now features this remarkable gel foam, which creates a very comfortable and supportive sleep surface while helping to reduce the heat build-up that can occur with memory foam mattresses. Support When and Where You Need It What makes the Serta iComfort such a comfortable, supportive mattress?

Too much pressure buildup during sleep can cause any sleeper to toss and turn. iComfort’s Cool Action™ Dual Effects® material helps reduce the average body pressure for a deeper and more restful sleep.•    Support where you need it. Using millions of MicroSupport® gel beads, the Cool Action™ Dual Effects® material in Serta iComfort mattresses also works to provide extra support under areas of the body that need it the most.•    Improved cooling comfort. To reduce the heat buildup than can cause restless sleep. Serta’s Cool Action™ Dual Effects® material combines an open cell structure with the MicroCool+® gel. This increases the airflow, allowing the iComfort mattress to dissipate heat. •    Comfort that lasts. Engineered to deliver years of exceptional comfort, the iComfort mattress’ innovative design also allows sleepers to enjoy its pressure-relieving comfort through a wide range of home temperatures.
