The air conditioner is old and in need of service. It rattles so much that I was woken constantly. The apartment is also just below street level and the lounge/bedroom has two windows to the street. Every passing car or crowd of people is broadcast into the apartment. I was woken many times by people passing by in the small hours from one of the many local bars and restaurants.
