Very firm mattress, a huge improvement from the cheap mattress that came with the new travel trailer. It's our second time to purchase this mattress & we've loved it both times. First purchase was for our previous trailer. This mattress is very uncomfortable!! I have added a memory foam topper and still need to do something else :(!! Very, very firm and can feel coils. Pros: Easy to apply, Easy to use I bought this mattress for another camper, and transferred it when we purchased a new RV. It is definitely better than the mattress that comes with new campers, but the longer we have it, the harder it seems to be. It started to make my ribs hurt so I bought a topper which seems to help a lot. The only trouble now is, can't get the sheets to fit. They come un-tucked in the night so we are constantly adjusting them.
