Stayed here for Big East tournament and definitely will again. Most comfortable beds ever, even the extra cot/bed we had sent up was great. One note if the safe shows all 888's it's the gfi button in the bathroom. Suites are roomy, bedding is very comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. The location is perfect! Step right out into Times Square. AT&T reception was great. No need for us to purchase wifi which did look expensive. We did not use the resturaunts but found the Starbucks in the lobby very convenient. Excellent stay and we will return. I found this hotel excellent in term of location, facilities and staff. Rooms and facilities provided are excellent. Staff are very helpful. The location is prime. I enjoyed the 20th Floor. Times Sqaure was just superb. Although it was dam cold outside but still smoking at Times Sqaure was something new experience for meLove to stay with my family.
Room Tip: Book in advance. This is a great hotel! Staff is very nice.Such a great value for a ny hotel! Do not let the entance fool you, once you go up the elevator the lobby is great! Great bar, but drinks there are very expensive.This is a great doubletree hotel! Subway is right there to. I accompanied my husband on a business trip. He was giving a seminar at the Doubletree Guest Suites Times Square and we stayed there. The hotel is a highrise over Times Square, with a discreet entrance on Broadway at 47th St. The main lobby is on the 3rd floor. This arrangement keeps the lobby away from the bustle of the outside. We stayed on the 11th floor and there was almost no street noise at all! I'm a former New Yorker and know how difficult it is to escape the roar of the city. The rooms are small suites, very comfortably laid out, with big screen TV's and good amenities. The dual coffee maker is a particular asset. Linens are top quality and the bed is comfortable. There's a nice restaurant on the 5th floor.
Service is EXCELLENT and FAST. They provide robes and slippers on request. Stayed for a long weekend with teenage daughter and her friends. Used Hilton points, but haven't stayed in a Doubletree for a long time, so I was very surprised to enter a trendy-feeling contemporary lobby, with very friendly staff, and the girls loved the warm cookies. We had booked a double bedded suite, with two double beds plus a sofabed, and as a Hilton elite member we were upgraded a city view suite. The suite wasn't huge (maybe 450 sq ft) but very efficiently laid out, with very nice furnishings and a great view. The suite could easily sleep 6, so it was very comfortable for the 4 of us. We arrived late, so we decided on getting chinese food delivered, and the reception staff provided us with take-out menus from several places as well as recommendations. The food was excellent and very inexpensive, so having the fridge and microwave was very nice for leftovers. The bellman arranged a car service for our return trip to the airport;
a very nice black SUV at the same price as a standard taxi. Would have like to stay there again on return trips in January and April, but prices were astronomical compared to other comparable properties. Would definitely stay again on points or if prices were more in line with Starwood and Kimpton properties. My fear about staying in Times Square was all the activity and noise 24/7. When I walked into my room at the Doubletree I heard NOTHING! The beds were comfortable and the room was so quiet, I slept like I was at home and I never do that while out of town. My teenage son had the living area to himself with his own tv and my husband and I could close the door for privacy. It was a perfect set-up. Only complaint is that the pull out bed is like sleeping on springs. We ended up getting him a roll-away and that was 100% better. If you are wanting to be close to the action, subway, buses, theatres, etc. this is the hotel for you. It's not cheap but worth every penny.A BEDROOM FOR EVERYONE

It is very modern with a nice design. I bought the 10 inch memory foam with infused green tea to go with this and it was a great buy. The bed was easy to put up. It took my husband about 30-40 minutes and everything went together perfectly. The bed has a center beam and a total of 9 legs; slats are the full width of the bed. Most importantly, the bed is silent during amorous activities! I’m 6’1″ at 270 lbs, and if I can’t make the bed squeak or otherwise feel cheap, you probably can’t either.
