The LEGO Group have unveiled a new kit which will allow brick-builders to put together their own version of Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament.
The set is a scale model that stands over 60cm high, featuring all the details of the real thing – and even includes a bell in the iconic tower. The Big Ben set is part of the Creator Expert range, aimed at more experienced fans of the little plastic bricks. Described as a “tribute to the engineering and architecture of the real building”, the set is due for release later this year on July 1, and will cost £169.99 – so start saving your pocket money. It will be available from LEGO’s online store, as well as their high street shops – speaking of which, central London is about to receive its own flagship branch.
