Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars Mega Man Legacy CollectionLego Dimensions is the new video game that uses physical Lego mini-figures to access on-screen characters, levels and worlds. The game’s been out for a while but is expanded every few months with waves of expansion packs. We’ve had Doctor Who, The Simpsons and Back to the Future previously, but today we have Wave 4 expansions that add levels and characters themed on 90’s arcade games, DC Comics and Ghostbusters. Each of the expansion packs in Wave 4 adds characters and vehicles in physical Lego form. Once built they can be placed on the USB Toy Pad and then appear in the game ready to go. The vehicles can even be rebuilt in different ways to access different special powers. Read more: Lego Dimensions review - A revolution in toys AND video games Top of the list of Wave 4 expansions is the Midway Arcade Level Pack. This costs a bit more than the other expansions (£25.99) but adds a lot to the game as well.

Firstly you get a new character and vehicle to use in the main adventure. This also opens up the explorable open world based on classic arcade games. As well as that it adds an entirely new level too. This new story extends the game’s narrative but also adds 20 playable versions of classic arcade machines. The list of machines included is impressive and will spark memories for anyone who grew up pumping coins into arcade cabinets in the 80s and 90s. Championship Sprint, Defender, Gauntlet, Paperboy, Rampage, Spyhunter and Xybots are just a few. The other expansion of note in Wave 4 is the Superman fun pack (£14.99). This includes a Superman mini figure to access his character in the game. Superman has a particularly long list of abilities: Flying, Dive, Invulnerability, Laser Deflector, Freeze Breath, X-Ray Vision, and Super Strength. Each of these unlock new areas in the game and offer really good value. Read more: How to get the best value from the Lego Dimensions The final tip for getting the most out of Lego Dimensions is for those who haven’t yet tried the game.
