Once a pristine, natural paradise, The World CHIMA has become a battleground for the animal tribes. Best friends are now enemies. The animals fight for control of a natural resource called CHI, a powerful element that is both a source of life and potential destruction. Only a few brave heroes in CHIMA understand the true nature of CHI, and the possible downfall of CHIMA that will result from its misuse. Their stories, and the stories of those who seek to destroy them, are known as the legends of CHIMA.Welcome to the CHIMA Topic!Feel free to discuss:The CHIMA Lore (Backstory, Major Events etc.)The CHIMA TV Show (Seasons 1-3)The CHIMA LEGO Sets (2013-2015)The CHIMA Books (The Magazine, Chapter Books etc.)The CHIMA Video Games (Laval's Journey, LEGO Dimensions etc.)The CHIMA Speedorz Collectable Game (Strategies, Obstacles, Power-Up Items, Game Cards etc.)

Oct. 26, 2016 17:29:26 You are literally the first person who I have found on Scratch that likes Chima! It's a really cool TV show, and it has some really deep backstory! I kinda got out of it once Netflix stopped adding the episodes () and the fire season just got kinda confusing. And a little bit gross. But the part with the spiders, scorpions and bats was very interesting. (My favorite character in Chima was definitely Cragger's sister. ) Oct. 27, 2016 01:35:56(My favorite character in Chima was definitely Cragger's sister. )I'm currently watching the show on Netflix!

I'm about halfway though the third season. Ninjago, on the other hand…. ~FHM Vector Art, Platformers, Animation Nov. 5, 2016 18:05:05Ninjago, on the other hand….Most of the negatives are created by butt-hurt Ninjago fans. CHIMA was set to replace Ninjago originally. The Ninjago Fanbase got so outraged that LEGO decided to keep both themes around. Even though CHIMA did not replace Ninjago, Ninjago fans give it hate anyway. But what does CHIMA have you ask? (Deep backstory with thousands of years of history!)Diverse and Interesting Characters. Crocodiles, Eagles, Lions, Ravens, Wolves, and Bears! (More than just those!)(I don't use the term epic lightly.)A collectible Action/Strategy game with a unique rule set. (Many of them have 5 Star reviews!)And that only names a few of the great things about CHIMA!

Dec. 27, 2016 06:31:33 Dec. 27, 2016 15:49:19 Dec. 27, 2016 17:12:41 Chima is ded incase anyone didn't notice.CHIMA may be dead but It's Fanbase is still alive and well. Just look at the Wiki or the fans on BZPower! Jan. 23, 2017 06:40:52And probably more to come!As the other writers said, this is totally a matter of opinion. If you like functionality, look into Technic sets. Generally with Technic, the bigger the better. A large set will come with all sorts of mechanical pieces, motors, and maybe even pneumatics. By way of traditional LEGO, my personal favorite line is the Creator theme. I prefer this over themes like Ninjago or Chima because these sets are challenging builds, and they are something that everyone can appreciate.

Finally, the LEGO set that I want the most right now is the Ferrari F40. By far the Galaxy Explorer - 1979 497 Galaxy Explorer (I'm still looking for one set) 928 Space cruiser and moonbase The set 497 was the US version, 928 for Europe: both sets have the same instruction & almost same box For further answers, see also the following question:What is the best LEGO set of all time? There are too many great sets to pick one and everyone will have their own opinion about what they like and don't like.  Plus with licensed sets there are elements like familiarity and nostalgia.  One of my favorite sets from childhood was Fort Legoredo.I was a big fan of the western sets and had probably all of them.  I also liked the Pirates a lot.  I don't think anything will ever top Fort Legoredo in my heart. However, I have gotten some recent sets that are pretty good.  My favorite of late is the LEGO Brand Retail Store. It's an exclusive set, so the rarity makes it even greater to own.  It's not all that impressive on its own, but for real LEGO collectors and fans, it's awesome to have your very own LEGO Store!
