It's on full blast when you have three two-year-olds in the car! Jake White was sick of hearing his triplets, Stella, Jade, and Xavier fighting and stealing each other's snacks in the car, so he came up with a genius solution: foam partitions. The unusual hack worked! The triplets were soothed, and after a drive-thru employee said how much he liked it, White shared the photo on social media, where the image quickly went viral. As you can imagine, commenters went nuts over the idea, labeling the clever dad a genius.

Twice a year, MCPOM hosts one of the area's largest consignment sales of high-quality infant and children's clothing and equipment. While sellers must be current members of MCPOM, the sale itself is open to both members and the general public and is a great opportunity to pick up gently-used (and often new) clothing, toys, equipment, and furniture. For members, this is the chance to purge your closets and toy boxes of the items your multiples have outgrown. MCPOM provides all advertising, the facility and staffing of the sale; members receive 70-80% of the proceeds from their items sold. Unsold items can be donated to a local charity and donation receipts are provided for tax purposes. For all shoppers, the sale provides the perfect opportunity to stock up on all of the necessities for infants and children at bargain prices as well as the chance to ask our member volunteers for advice about what to buy at each stage of your children's lives. Our sale works more like a store than a yard sale.

We have strict guidelines to ensure that all items sold are in good condition. Each item is electronically tagged and bar coded, sorted, and placed with like items. Our sales are held in the spring and fall – usually March and October – depending on facility availability. Last fall we had over 200 families of twins and triplets selling gently used items with over 600 members of the public shopping at the sale. Arrive early for the best deals – lines often begin to form at least an hour before admission.
