Yes the stitches are off white not navy. The mattress works well with the different stitch colors and is very comfortable. "What frame is used in this photo?" Don't know, the Frame is sold separate. Will this mattress do the same?" I really couldn't say but it is thick and seems sturdy. I am 155lbs and I like it. If you sit in the same position and don't rotate it might go flat. I would rotate it every 6 months. I just bought this a few months ago. I hope this helps you out. We also use our futon as a couch. Our last mattress was a coil spring for a futon.
