"This was our third visit in as many years to Elysian Fields Inn. We loved the previous owners and were a little worried when we learned Inn had changed hands just a few weeks before our return visit. We were delighted to find the new owners to be friendly and charming and enthusiastic about their new venture. They have made a few changes to the lovely inn, which is located close to Frenchman Street and a short walk to the French Quarter. Breakfasts are nice, and oh my, that blueberry French toast casserole! "Only there for two nights, but we settled in immediately. The room was spacious and clean, the bed very comfortable, and the lofty ceilings with crown molding made it all seem quite regal. An excellent location, we were just blocks from the music on Frenchmen Street, with an easy walk to our favorite old places in the Quarter and our favorite new (to us) places in Bywater.
