prior and apts as far ahead as 14 days are accepted • It is common that your requested time of pick up could be adjusted by up to 1 hour in order to serve multiple clients • The RIDE staff works hard to accommodate client’s individual needs. • It is possible to set up a ride weekly to and from the same place to avoid multiple calls to the appointment hotline. • Each approved client may be accompanied by one guest • There is a fee of $4.00 per ride , exceptions are made due to income verification done at initial approval appointment. To Apply for the RIDE • Make an eligibility appointment; you usually wait about a week for an appointment. • The RIDE will provide transportation to and from appointment. • After that appointment a determination will be made within 21 days, all information provided will be verified and taken into consideration along with interviewer’s feedback. • There is an appeals process that will be outline in your determination letter, if you are denied
