Foundations must be returned clean and include all pieces to qualify for a refund. No, we use foam that will not be damaged by compression. We have done extensive testing to make sure our mattresses completely rebound once they are removed from the box and packaging. Please note: we recommend decompressing the mattress before 30 days. All memory foam mattresses are designed to work on a flat, sturdy, non-spring foundation. We highly recommend purchasing a foundation made specifically for memory foam mattresses. Using an inadequate foundation will void the mattress warranty. All foundations, platform beds, & adjustable beds we offer are qualified foundations.
If you choose to use your existing box springs, it must be flat, sturdy, and not have spaces wider than 5 inches on the surface. If you can press the foundation down with your hand, it is not sturdy enough. If it is nice and sturdy, but has spacing on the top surface wider than 5 inches, you can use a piece of 3/8 inch plywood on top of your box springs to cover the gaps. Once the items leave our facility they are the carrier's responsibility. We offer shipping to APOs within the guidelines listed by USPS. Unfortunately, we cannot ship anything over 70lbs. Shipping charges to APOs are very expensive ($100 or more in some cases, depending on your location). If you purchase the White Glove Delivery, 2 people will deliver your Ultimate Sleep System Air Mattress to the room of your choice and perform the initial set up. They will remove all product cartons and for an additional charge, dispose of your old mattress. All you have to do is move your old bedroom furniture, so there is a space for your New Ultimate Sleep System Air Bed, to be set up. FedEx does not call before delivery, so no one has to be available for delivery.
