Al and Linda have lived in the Okanagan Valley for 22 years and built their dream home two years ago, and their golf course location is just perfect for those who want to play a round of golf without having to go far! They have now turned the lower walk-out level into a wonderful living area featuring two bedrooms, just perfect for bed & breakfast visitors. Linda has been in the service industry for 25 years and and truly enjoys working with the public in a happy atmosphere. For travelers from the Netherlands or Dutch speaking countries, Linda is also fluent in Dutch. Fairways B & B is located in the Black Mountain subdivision of Kelowna, only a 30 minute drive to Big White Ski Resort, as well as in close proximity to many activities, such as hiking, cycling, visiting wineries and enjoying all that Kelowna has to offer.

"We stayed two nights at Pineacre. We were treated royally from beginning to end by owners Tanya and Rocky. The suite was like our home away from home – comfortable, well appointed, very spacious and self contained. The view directly from our suite over Lake Oakanagan was breath-taking.

"Whenever I feel the need to get away from it all, I think back to our few days break at Pine Acre last summer. Waking up in the morning to a vista of the Okanagan Lake while still in the comfort of a cozy feather bed is only part of the charm of Pine Acre. The self-catering suite is decorated to a superior standard and provides everything you need. There’s plenty to do in the surrounding areas but relaxing on the patio and watching the sunset was equally enjoyable. Tanya and Rocky are wonderful hosts who are easy going, extremely hospitable and very knowledgeable of the area. They say "God is in the details." As we unpacked, I looked around at the finely crafted wood beams that supported the stunning home belonging to Rocky and Tanya, and deeply pondered that quote. Houses are built by power tools, but a home is built by hand and by heart. After a week at Pineacre on the Lake my wife Nadia and I were clear that the only way Rocky and Tanya do anything is by hand and by heart. Like their home, they are a gift to the mind, body and soul.
