The owner's real name Kim Ye-rim, or better known by her stage name, Yeri, is a South Korean singer-songwriter, rapper, and television personality. South Korean television personality. She is the vocalist, rapper, and maknae of the South Korean girl group Red Velvet and was introduced to the group as a new member on March 11, 2015.

Yeri herself was born in Seoul, South Korea. His parents' names have not been released to the public. She has three younger sisters, Kim Yoo-rim, Ye-eun, and Chae-eun. Yeri attended Hanlim Multi Art High School, where she graduated in 2018. Before becoming a member of Red Velvet, Yeri successfully auditioned for SM Entertainment in 2011 and trained under the company for four years.

As a trainee, Yeri also appeared in the music video for Red Velvet's debut song Happiness before her debut as a member.
