Both children were found dead inside the chairs.The voluntary standard for bean bag chairs requires them to be closed or have disabled zippers, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission., before July 2013.They were sold in a variety of shapes, sizes, fabrics and colors, including purple, violet, blue, red, pink, yellow, Kelly green, black, port, navy, lime, royal blue, turquoise, tangerine and multi-color. The chairs could either be round like a pillow or an L-shaped chair promoted for playing computer games or watching television.The chairs were manufactured in China, and the company's name, Ace Bayou Corp., is printed on a tag sewn into a seam.Consumers who purchased the chairs should immediately discontinue using them and move them to a location not accessible by children. The company will supply consumers with a free repair kit to permanently disable the zippers.
