The monster 175-pound 17-month-old pit bull is this week's feature on Barcroft TV. In the video above, Hulk's owners and breeders Marlon and Lisa Grennan say their family dog is 100 per cent trustworthy around their 3-year-old son Jordan. "I don't think it is irresponsible at all for people to have pit bulls around their children, they're dogs like any other dog," Lisa says. "No matter what the breed, it's all completely on how you raise them."The Grennans run a dog training business called Dark Dynasty K9s, which focuses on training elite guard dogs including pit bulls. In Canada, different provinces have different legislation when it comes to owning a pit bull. In Ontario, for example, a pit bull ban was put in place in 2005 (previous owners were allowed to keep their dogs), while some communities in B.C. are still petitioning for a province-wide ban.Bans have been brought to cities after reports of deadly attacks and serious bites. In Toronto, for example, the Toronto Star reports these dogs were the city's biggest biters a decade ago, but this number has significantly decreased by 2013.
